Curve-billed Thrasher

On my return home from Elkhart on Sunday I stopped at the cemetery in Hugoton where there had been Curved-billed Thrashers reported earlier in the day. I was able to find the pair and take a few photos.

    I am new to this and so far only have the Audubon backyard bird watcher. In this limited book I found a California Thrasher which has a curved bill but looks a little different. Could be that the photo in the book has the bird ruffling his feathers... :-)
